Eva Keiser Earns PRSA Midwest District Platinum Award, Continuing Minnesota's Legacy of Leadership

The Minnesota chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is proud to celebrate Eva Keiser, APR, Fellow PRSA, who has been named the 2026 recipient of the PRSA Midwest District Platinum Award—the district's highest individual honor.
Presented during the 2026 PRSA Midwest District Conference in Minneapolis, the Platinum Award recognizes communications professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedicated service to PRSA, and lasting contributions that advance the public relations profession.
For more than three decades, Keiser has exemplified those qualities through her work as a strategic communications counselor, educator, mentor and volunteer leader. Her career reflects an unwavering commitment to helping organizations navigate complex communications challenges while investing in the future of the profession.
A PRSA member since 1996, Keiser earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2001 and was inducted into the PRSA College of Fellows in 2024. She has served Minnesota PRSA in nearly every leadership capacity, including Chapter President in 2018, and chaired the PRSA Midwest District in 2022. During the pandemic, she helped transition the district conference to a successful virtual format, ensuring members continued to have access to meaningful professional development. She later played an instrumental role in returning the conference to an in-person experience.
Keiser's influence extends beyond PRSA. Through her consulting practice, she advises organizations across a variety of industries, while her work as an adjunct faculty member at Metropolitan State University—and previously at the University of Minnesota—has helped prepare the next generation of communications professionals. Her dedication to mentorship, teaching and volunteer leadership has strengthened both the profession and the communities she serves.
In its nomination, Minnesota PRSA described Keiser's impact best: "Eva's leadership is often quiet but deeply influential. She consistently elevates organizations, strengthens teams and advances the profession without seeking recognition for herself. Simply put, she leaves every organization better than she found it."
Keiser's recognition also continues a remarkable tradition of leadership from the Minnesota Chapter. She becomes the fifth Minnesota PRSA member to receive the Midwest District Platinum Award, joining David Hakensen, APR, Fellow PRSA (2013), David Schoeneck, APR (2015), Margaret Ann Hennen, APR, Fellow PRSA (2023) and James Lukaszewski, ABC, Fellow IABC; APR, Fellow PRSA; PRSA BEPS Emeritus 2015 (2024). Their achievements reflect Minnesota PRSA's longstanding commitment to developing leaders who strengthen the profession at the chapter, district and national levels.
