In Memory of Margaret Ann Hennen, APR, Fellow PRSA

A Lifelong Friend, Colleague, Advocate, Inspiration

To my friends and colleagues at Minnesota PRSA:

Margaret Ann and I go back to her beginnings in PRSA. She caught my attention early on. It was a challenge because just two years after she joined the chapter, I moved my practice to New York City, but we were always in contact. She got plugged in as the quiet consummate organizer and resource finder. Her ability to get things that mattered done was recognized early as a local, regional and national PRSA resource.

 Even knowing her as well as I did, for as long as I did, I kept discovering things she was working on, always for the success of others.

Across her work, there were several recurring themes:

For me, Margaret Ann was a touchstone, who always put the truth first in a world where so much is made up. Doing the doable, getting the getable, finding the findable, and helping us all find and achieve our better selves.

Rest in peace, my friend. You have accomplished so much for so many. Your greatest accomplishment was helping PRSA make real what so many of us hope to achieve.
